2026 NBA Playoffs Are Here: Full Bracket, Play-In Schedule & Early Championship Predictions

The wait is over — the 2026 NBA postseason is officially underway.

After a dramatic final day of the regular season on April 13, all 20 playoff teams and seeds are locked in. The SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament kicks off tonight (April 14) with high-stakes games that will decide the final two spots in each conference. The first round of the playoffs begins Saturday, April 18, and the NBA Finals are scheduled to tip off in early June.

The Play-In Tournament tips off Tuesday night on Prime Video:

• 7:30 PM ET – Charlotte Hornets vs. Miami Heat (East)
• 10:00 PM ET – Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trail Blazers (West)

Winners advance to face the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds on Thursday and Friday.

Early favorites include the Boston Celtics (seeking back-to-back titles) and the Oklahoma City Thunder, who posted the league’s best record for the second straight year. However, the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves could create chaos in the West, while the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers look dangerous in the East.

Injuries remain a major storyline — Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers is dealing with shingles on top of his Achilles recovery, and several teams are monitoring key players heading into the Play-In.
